Shadow Mountain Recovery was established in 2007, with this, our first residential treatment facility, in Taos, New Mexico. We offer affordable, gender-specific treatment for men in a structured setting, utilizing traditional and evidence-based therapies.

Our campus is unique in that it is located on 38 acres in the Sangre de Christo Mountains of New Mexico. Many experiential therapeutic activities made possible by our location are incorporated into daily schedule.

Shadow Mountain Recovery provides extended residential treatment for men on our picturesque campus in Taos, New Mexico. Our goal is to provide a protective environment which includes medical stabilization, support, treatment for addictive disorders and potential co-occurring conditions, with supervision 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
